Ha ha ha ha ha…

I'm so sorry Washington, D.C. These things look horrendous. Undoubtably they would have looked better if no "artists" had touched them at all. I think I hear the pitter-patter of graffiti kids though so things could get interesting.

On an equally appalling note, Chicago (you know, that wonderful cities who gave us "Cows on Parade") has had  700 lb Mickey Mouse statues painted by such celebrities as Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. God, that sounds like something we'd do in Los Angeles. I actually did not see one of these during my May visit. But, no worries if you're scared, they'll be gone on July 3rd. Phew.
